General Description
beeskin is the natural, sustainable alternative to plastic and aluminum foil for ecological food packaging. With their breathable, antibacterial effect, beeskins make food last longer and help prevent food waste.
To cover, beeskins are wrapped around the food and lightly pressed down; they adhere to themselves and smooth surfaces. After use, beeskin is rinsed with cold water and organic cleaner. The beeskins are guaranteed to last a year and are available in a variety of sizes.
They are made of purely organic materials that are strictly controlled and certified and, because of consistent sustainability, almost all come from Europe. beeskins are sold at 8,000 retail outlets in stationary retail in Europe in seven languages and via the company’s own online store. The high reorder rate and the excellent ratings with 4.9 out of 5 points underline quality and utility.
Sustainability Impact
As a natural, sustainable and reusable alternative for packaging food, beeskins save plastic waste; after all, an average household of four in Germany uses around 100 meters of plastic film a year.
Thanks to its breathable and antibacterial effect, food with beeskin stays fresh and durable for longer. This also helps to combat the problem of food waste.
